Becca qualified as a Forrest yoga teacher in September 2014. Forrest is a yoga practice created by yogi Ana Forrest. It addresses the issues we face in modern day life and encourages students to connect to their spirit.
Classes are intelligently sequenced which minimizes the risk of injury and tends to the whole body. Forrest yoga is strongly influenced by Native American traditions, the practice itself is seen as a ceremony and a gift to body, mind and soul.
Breath and poses are used to help students tune into themselves and can often lead to physical and emotional breakthroughs. One of the beauties of Forrest yoga is that it transfers into daily living and provides people with the tools to live a life they’re proud of!
Becca creates a nourishing and encouraging space for students to grow and explore personal boundaries in a safe way. She feels that by switching off from busy lives and tuning into our bodies we are able to access our wiser selves. This has many benefits such as helping people live life with integrity and enabling them to practice self-compassion.
By setting an intent at the beginning of each class students have a focus and the opportunity to explore different areas of themselves.
